Where we are

We’re right in the city centre – as you’ve probably already realised – so here’s how to get here.

The Hotel Donatello is situated right in front of the Basilica of Saint Anthony, so you can simply enter this destination into your sat-nav, or if you need to ask a passer-by for directions, just say, “Can you direct me to the Basilica?” and you’re sorted.

How to reach us

If you’re arriving at the station, it’s just a 2-kilometre journey to the hotel, and you can walk, take the tram or a taxi. The destination is always the same: the Basilica of Saint Anthony.

If you’re arriving by car, set your GPS to Via Cesarotti. Follow the street until you reach the square of the Basilica of St. Anthony (Piazza della Basilica di S. Antonio).

Warning: Do not enter Via del Santo (ZTL - Limited Traffic Zone). Stop momentarily in the square near the restaurant "Fresco" and come into the hotel: we will provide you with all the necessary parking directions.

Please note: The hotel cannot issue permits for transit within the ZTL zone.

Parking Options:
Piazza Rabin (Recommended): Located at Via 58° Reggimento Fanteria, 1. Rate of €15.00 per day, approximately a 10-15 minute walk away.
Garage Roma: Located at Via XX Settembre, 26. Thanks to our partnership, the rate for our guests is €15.00 per day (instead of €25.00). It is about a 10-15 minute walk away.

Take a look around

Padua is stunning and everything is so close by.

The hotel is your starting point for discovering Padua’s wonders and places of interest. As well as the nearby Basilica of Saint Anthony, you can easily reach other artistic and architectural gems. It’s just a short walk to the Loggia di Cornaro, the Oratory of San Giorgio (which houses frescoes by Titian), Prato della Valle, the Basilica of Santa Giustina and the Padua Botanical Garden, the oldest in Europe. Less than a kilometre and a half from here is the Padua General Hospital.
